Wool Work Workshop

A mix of experienced wool workers and total newbies
attended the wool work workshop by Kysa Meek.

Kysa brought, and generously shared, lots of wool and thread and needles.

We worked diligently!

And produced beautiful little needle holders!

And our teacher found a few quiet moments to work on her own project.

Thanks, Kysa, for sharing your knowledge, experience and materials.
It was a great workshop!

September Meeting - Kathy Flowers presentation

Kathy Flowers, quilt pattern designer and author joined us for our September meeting and she brought her quilter, Vonnie Johnson of Fox River Grove (who also does amazing work!).

The presentation included lots of patriotic quilts
in a variety of sizes and complexity.
Many of the patterns for these can be found in Kathy's book, Oh Glory.

On Eagle's Wings

And, of course, they came with stories!

We also saw baby quilts, holiday quilts, just for fun quilts, and more!
